Bob grew up in a part of greater New Orleans called Jefferson Parish. It was certainly a place steeped in jazz and blues traditions. Early in his career, though, Bob found his place in Rock-N-Roll, first as a front man & rhythm guitarist and then as a bass player. As he approached his mid-thirties, the piano was there to guide him back to his roots...New Orleans jazz and blues. He worked on his solo act a bit and very soon found himself in demand and working steady at piano bars all over the Big Easy. He brought crowds to Harrah's Casino, in hotel lounges, and on the cruise ships...then he settled in. At Ivory's on Bourbon Street. In arguably, the worlds best place to hear jazz and blues, he was among the legendary Street's favorites for six years. He got to showcase his soulful timber, and develop an on-demand repertoire that exceeds 500 tunes. Highlighting of all of those days in the Big Easy, was an expression of appreiciation for his rendition of The Lady is a Tramp from a member in the audience who played a little piano himself...Mr. Billy Joel. He has opened for legendary artists' Garth Brooks, and "The Soul Queen of New Orleans" Ms. Irma Thomas, kicked off shows for swing icons Asleep At The Wheel, country star, T. Graham Brown and Moe Brandy, and stroked the Ivory in venues from Key West and Chicago, to Palm Springs & in between. "Take advantage of this unique opportunity to add even more magic to an already unforgettable day!" -Bluesky Sound & Light
