When my husband and I were planning our wedding we knew we wanted something not as traditional, but personal during our wedding ceremony.  When it came down to the music during our wedding our great friend Matt came to mind.  We have been friends with Matt for many years and loved listening to him sing.  Matt has a very distinctive, soulful voice that is loved by all.  We knew he’d have the perfect touch to add to our ceremony.  We asked Matt to sing Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon” right after our vows.  Matt was very professional and took charge with rehearsing with the guitarist that we had hired to do the rest of the ceremony.  Matt’s performance was amazing and added that special touch to our special day.  On the video of our wedding the guests gasped when he sang the first word.  Matt did a wonderful job on our wedding day and we are grateful to have such a talented friend.

Matt was so helpful during the planning stages of my wedding reception.  We met up prior to the reception date and he helped with song suggestions and wanted to make it exactly how we wanted it.  We had a destination wedding in Mexico so our reception was about a week after the actual wedding.  Matt worked with us to create a theme at the reception that made the guests feel like they were on vacation as they watched a slide show of our wedding before we entered the reception.  He even sang our wedding song live with a saxaphone player, which made it so much more meaningful and touching.  I could tell that Matt sincerely wanted to make it a special night and he did exactly that.

My husband and I come from very diverse backgrounds.  We have large families and friends from all over the United States.  With over 250 people at our reception, we knew that we'd need a DJ that could make it fun for everyone.  Not only did these guys deliver, but I've gotten compliments from coast to coast raving about how it was the most fun they'd ever had at a reception.  Matt worked with us on the dos and don'ts for our music, and given our tastes, he was able to develop hours of dance-inducing fun... I've never seen so many people doing the Cha Cha Slide at one time!  The lighting was fantastic; it added to and blended in with the atmosphere perfectly.  He also had a setup ready for some special music.  Our brother/brother-in-law chose to perform a special song on guitar...It was a party that will not soon be forgotten.  We've even been asked to do it again for our 10 year anniversary.  If that happens, Bluesky Sound & Light will be the first phone number I dial.  Thanks again!

Matt donated his time, equimpment, and professional skills to DJ for the wedding of a very special lady losing her fight with cancer. His willingness to jump right in and help was incredible. In preparing for the wedding reception he was very professional and stayed in touch not only with me(wedding planner) but also the bride and groom. He worked very hard to make it a memorable and fun reception. I wish Matt and Blue Sky Soundlight much success because he deserves it!
